为发挥国际友城在促进对外开放和交流合作中的特殊作用，8月14日至18日，由陕西省人民政府主办、中国人民对外友好协会指导、陕西省人民对外友好协会承办的2022 国际友城产业对接会暨名优特色商品展在西安国际会展中心国际馆成功举行。美国内布拉斯加州、比利时安特卫普省、德国图林根州、菲律宾八打雁省、匈牙利琼格拉德州、日本爱媛县等国际友城50多位友城代表、友好组织、企业商协会嘉宾参加活动。
活动以“话友好、谋发展、广交流、促合作”为主题，设置“项目友城”“贸易友城”“健康友城”“人文友城”等四大板块50余个展位，举办4场产业对接会，韩国釜山广域市、美国内布拉斯加州、佐治亚州、明尼苏达州、德国莱法州、俄罗斯奔萨州、阿联酋阿布扎比等省州及城市代表进行了产业推介，与陕西省相关单位及企业进行深入互动，畅叙友城情谊，共商交流合作。
8月14日上午，中国人民对外友好协会副会长袁敏道、陕西省副省长徐大彤出席首场产业对接会并见签美国瑞克制造公司与陕西靖边农业集团、西安浐灞生态区管委会与英国剑桥瑞迪姆医疗技术研究发展中心、菲律宾八达雁省国际贸易中心与陕西祥云物流公司签署合作意向书。
8月16日上午，国际友城产业对接会暨陕煤集团“一带一路”重点项目签约仪式举行。中国驻阿根廷大使邹肖力、阿根廷火地岛省省长古斯塔沃·梅莱亚线上线下出席签约仪式并致辞，阿根廷驻华大使牛望道就阿地方政府与陕西省友城结好及相关领域务实合作进行现场推介，陕煤集团签署阿根廷火地岛能源化工项目、印尼新丝路产业园项目、日本宇高株式会社煤炭分质利用制化工新材料示范项目等合作协议。
In order to give full play to the special role of international friendship cities in promoting opening up and exchanges and cooperation, from August 14th to 18th, the 2022 International Friendship Conference was hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, guided by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and organized by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. With the theme of "talking about friendship, seeking development, widening exchanges, and promoting cooperation", the event set up more than 50 booths in four major sectors, including "Project Friendship City", "Trade Friendship City", "Health Friendship City" and "Humanities Friendship City".At the industry matchmaking meeting, representatives from provinces, states and cities such as Busan Metropolitan City in South Korea, Nebraska, Georgia, Minnesota, German state Rheinland-Pfalz, Penza, Russia, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates conducted industry promotions. Relevant units and enterprises in Shaanxi Province conducted in-depth interactions, talked about friendship between sister cities, and discussed exchanges and cooperation.
On the morning of the 14th, Yuan Mindao, Vice President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Xu Datong, Vice Governor of Shaanxi Province, attended the first industry matchmaking meeting and met with the American Ruike Manufacturing Company, Shaanxi Jingbian Agricultural Group, and Xi'an Chanba Ecological Zone Management Committee. Signed a letter of intent for cooperation with the Cambridge Redeemer Medical Technology Research and Development Center, the Batangas International Trade Center in the Philippines, and Shaanxi Xiangyun Logistics Company.
On the morning of the 16th, the International Friendship City Industry Matchmaking Conference and the signing ceremony of Shaanxi Coal Group's "Belt and Road" key projects were held. Zou Xiaoli, Chinese Ambassador to Argentina, and Gustavo Meleia, Governor of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina attended the signing ceremony online and offline and delivered speeches. The international friendship city activities in Shaanxi Province began in 1974. After nearly half a century of intensive cultivation, the number of international sister cities in the province has reached 101 pairs, covering five continents in the world. International sister cities have increasingly become an important carrier for Shaanxi to expand its opening to the outside world, an important starting point for friendly exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation, an important window for highlighting its international image, and an important link for deepening friendship with people from all over the world.
